Home  /  How it works

  • After choosing an article of clothing you would like to have made for yourself, you provide us with your measurements which then remain saved for future use and modification.
  • You can create different garment profiles for your clothing measurements. For example, if you prefer to wear a certain shirt untucked then you can create a shirt profile which includes your desired untucked length and name it, say, Untucked Shirt. This profile would be different from a profile of a shirt that you would like to tuck in. Similarly, a casual blazer is typically shorter than a suit jacket.
  • You can also simply give the required measurements for any garment without creating a profile. This would be a one-off order and the garment profile in this case would not be saved.
  • A tailor receives your measurements in their workshop and makes your clothing by hand using nothing more than a simple sewing machine, a needle and some thread, basically, as it would have been made a hundred years ago. All tailors set and keep their own schedules as they work out of their own workshops. All our fabrics come from small artisanal mills around the world and are made from natural fibers like silk, linen, cotton and wool.
  • Your order is then delivered in roughly three to four weeks. Please bear in mind that ordering made-to-measure, hand-made clothing from a family-owned workshop is not the same as ordering a mass-produced item for quick delivery from a fulfillment facility.
  • All our packaging materials are recycled paper-based products. We do not use any plastic at any stage of our production cycle.
